ECONOMICAL LARGE FORMAT LASER CUTTER AND ENGRAVER

The EcoFlex laser system is Kern’s entry-level large format model. Kern’s team re-engineered our previous generation HSE machine, standardizing many components and saving costs all without sacrificing quality. Many of the high-quality components used on our high-performance line are also used on the EcoFlex, including the laser, power supplies, vacuum blowers and computer system. These efforts have paid off big for our customers as we launch this new workhorse laser system designed for non-metal cutting applications.

THE KERN DIFFERENCE

INTEGRATED CLEARPATH® BRUSHLESS SERVO MOTORS

Integrating the electronics with the motor gives you a perfectly matched motor and drive, a more compact solution, requires no cable between motor and drive and allows for a lower overall system cost. Clear Path’s auto-tuner optimizes performance of the motor on the EcoFlex laser system.

LIGHTWAVE LASERS SOURCE

Kern’s LightWAVE are pulsed CO2 lasers, with exceptional power stability and an ultra-efficient RF design. CO2 lasers from 100-250 watts can be installed on the EcoFlex model. Kern’s LightWAVE laser sources are made in the USA.

SOLID STEEL CHASSIS

The EcoFlex is built around a precision-machined, heavy-duty steel weldment as the machine base. The one-piece weldment allows for the machine to arrive fully assembled, greatly reducing installation time.

DUAL PURPOSE EXHAUST SYSTEM

A vacuum blower package removes fumes and small debris created during laser processing. An integrated downdraft table holds material secure to the table during processing. All hoses and hardware between the laser system and blower are included.

CHILLING UNIT

A closed-loop chilling unit properly cools the laser source during operation. This level of temperature control ensures a long laser lifetime and consistent cutting and engraving results.

COMPUTER SYSTEM

A high-performance computer and monitor package is included with each system. KCAM laser software, CorelDRAW® and an easy-to-use PDF converter are pre-installed on the computer.
