Slitting and Rewinding

Slitting a reel of laminate to a specific width is often the first stage of pouch conversion.

Cutting through multiple layers of laminate on a thick roll and achieving uniform width throughout is a precision skill that requires expert handling.

Moore and Buckle has six slitting machines in our factory able to deal with most requests. We can handle reels up to 1650mm wide and 1000mm O/D but also smaller sizes, with thickness ranging from 12 to 1000micron.
