4 Corner Glued Clear Lids

A client needed to display a thermoform tray within a plastic lid/tray combo box. The tray tops needed to fit over the bottom, sliding perfectly over the sides. So we created these custom clear plastic folding trays. We made them with thin, clear, soft, easy to fold PET material; machine-gluing them during the process. This made the recyclable plastic trays easy to both pop up and fold flat. This also made the packages easier to transport and saved our client valuable storage space.

This style is extremely versatile. Since this plastic folding carton can serve as a “set box”–the clear lid to a paper box–it can also be used as a clear base only. While most four-corner glued plastic styles are fixed into shape, our version has deeper sides and can still be flattened for shipping.
