Eco-Plast Tier Sheets

Southern States Packaging has developed an economical alternative to Plastic Tier Sheets.  We call this new development Eco-Plast Tier Sheets.

Plastic tier sheets offer a number of benefits over the recycled Chipboard tier sheets including being odor free and offering a clean, dust free surface for direct contact with metal cans.  Today, the single biggest issue with Plastic Tier Sheets is cost.

With the increasing costs of petroleum and petrochemicals, one can expect that resin cost will continue to increase.  Eco-Plast addresses the cost issue while maintaining the performance expectations of solid plastic.

Eco-Plast is manufactured with Plastic Liners laminated to a fiberboard core.  The plastic surface provides the desired characteristics of a Plastic Tier Sheet, while the fiber core offers the value of paperboard. 

The plastic surface can be customized to match any color or coefficient of friction requirement, and the fiber core is manufactured from 100% FDA Compliant Virgin Food-Grade Kraft fiber. 

The standard Eco-Plast tier sheet contains only about 5% plastic resin.  This development of Eco-Plast significantly reduces cost and provides all of the desired characteristics of Plastic Tier Sheets.  Please contact us today for samples and additional information.
