Cap Sorter

The Econo-Sorter System orients the caps into position for its final entry into the transfer system or chute and ultimately applied to the container. Sorters can accomidate multiple caps by making minor adjustments to the spinner bowl.

The closure orientation is achieved through the exit throat of the spinner bowl/sorter utilizing compressed air. The final position of the closure is to have the open side of the closure facing upward (top of the cap touching the exit throat of the spinner bowl/sorter). The closures that are not oriented properly (open side of the closure facing downward) will be blown out of the system by an airline into a discharge chamber.

Vertical Sorter Features

• Used only for H-Tab (Horizontal Tab) caps
• Lower speed – economical version

Horizontal Sorter Features

• Used to move higher speed H-Tab (Horizontal Tab) and V-Tab ( Vertical Tab) caps
• High speed solution for sorting caps
• Has the capability to run different styles of caps
• Capable of speeds up to 400 cpm
• Manufactured in accordance with 3-A & cGMP Standards

Dual Sorter Features

• Runs multiple caps with minimal change over time and minimal line clearance
• Capable of speeds up to 400 cpm – depending on cap style and sorter size
• Air operated adjustable shrouds used to adjust the height
• Custom fabricated per customer’s demands
