Econo-Elevator Bulk Hopper

An Econo-Elevator Bulk Hopper conveys caps from floor level to a pre-feeder or directly into a feeder. Closures are trickled through a hopper onto a horizontal section of cleated belt. Oriented closures continue to travel up the elevator to where they flow out from the cleated belt into a discharge area. A clean out chute allows for an easy line change in capping runs. The Elevator hopper is used to increase capping efficiency without taking any extra floor space on the packing line.

This feature can greatly reduce your employee’s risk of falling off a ladder, climbing a platform, and loading the sorter from awkward angles. It is also less strain on your employee’s back from carrying the boxes up a ladder. This improves productivity as well as helping reduce labor cost.
