WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO...
ATLAS for Industry was founded by David Nethercote at home in 1998. ‘ATLAS’ was a family effort, together coming up with a name reflecting the first products available; adhesive, tapes, labels, and stretch wrap. Over the years the business has grown from humble beginnings in the family study to the current premises in Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland. The business has evolved and now supplies and manufactures a much larger and ever-expanding range of adhesive and industrial tapes, adhesive labels (plain, printed / bespoke), tags, packaging and paper products throughout the UK and Ireland.
ATLAS represents something different to each customer, we service a vast array of industries and as such we deliver bespoke solutions depending on the request. We often order, produce, or carry stock of a product for a client’s exclusive use. Our service is personal and professional, with the customer at the centre of the journey; we take pride in getting to know you and establishing a strong working relationship.
Many of our products are designed personally for you, and your input is essential to the success of the project. We work collaboratively with you and no bespoke order will be processed without customer approval at each stage. Once confirmed, the design is passed to the production team. Many of our products are made in our own factory by skilled operators. The manufacturing side of the business began with a simple slitting machine in rented premises. However, at the point of expansion, production was also moved on-site and over time manufacturing has expanded and we can print labels and tapes in up to nine colours. We have a large production capacity for laser labels and meat tags. Branded stationery is also produced on-site.

Whether standard or bespoke, the ‘raw materials’ used to produce your goods are of the highest possible quality from carefully selected suppliers. We are proud to be affiliated with well-known brands such as 3M, Manuli, Raflatac, Fasson, Avery, and the most recent addition, Teufelberger.
