Sirane is the leading packaging development-to-manufacturing company in Europe and one of the most innovative worldwide. We specialise in new product development, and process development combined with full manufacturing capabilities.
Our main divisions and areas of expertise are food packaging, medical & healthcare, lab services & supplies, horticultural and sustainable packaging (our Earth Packaging range).
We’re experts in absorbency/absorbent materials (including absorbent meat pads & fruit pads – also known as soaker pads), bags/pouches/films (including flexibles – we’re the UK’s largest stand-up pouch manufacturer and offer access to both flexo and digital print) – ovenable/microwaveable bags/pouches/films, and board-based packaging.
Sirane was also at the forefront of the sustainable packaging revolution, and has pioneered products including paper-based recyclable absorbent pads and recyclable coated salmon boards & cake boards.
We also developed a range of eco tree-shelters, plastic-free & biodegradable shelters which survive in the wild for many years.

We mainly operate in three specialist areas: absorbency; bags, pouches & films (flexible packaging), and board products – selling into four main sectors: food packaging; medical & healthcare; lab supplies & services, and horticultural.
ABSORBENCY – absorbent pads are one of our core products. Whether it’s compostable or recyclable, ovenable or odour-absorbing, we have a huge range of capabilities. When it comes to absorbency, we’re the European market leaders, possibly even the world.
FLEXIBLE PACKAGING – flow-wrap films and pouches of all types including stand-up pouches (we’re the UK’s largest stand-up pouch manufacturer). We have access to both flexo and digital printing presses. Whether it is recyclable plastics or plastic-free, quad-seal or retort, we have got you covered. We are at the forefront of plastic-free flexibles, with our range including paper-based barrier films.
BOARD – board-based packaging including cake/salmon boards, U-cards and J-cards, susceptor, SRPs, FSDUs and more. We’re pioneers in our use of coated boards as a plastic replacement. Our range includes plastic-free sustainable tree-shelters.
Sirane’s headquarters are in Cambrian Industrial Park, Clydach Vale, Tonypandy, UK. The company was founded by in 2003 with the simple objective of providing a new pace of innovation and level of service to the packaging industry.
