Gordian Strapping Ltd.

Established in 1937, Gordian offers an extensive range of stand-alone strapping, wrapping and hooding equipment and packaging consumables including plastic straps, stretch film and paper or film banding. We offer innovative end-of-line packaging systems, installed and maintained by our skilled, directly employed team of 16 service engineers located across the UK and Ireland. At our 28,000 sq. ft. (8,500 sqm) facility in Basingstoke, we hold comprehensive supplies of packaging consumables and spare parts. Our 4 in-house engineers test all machines before they are dispatched. They also regularly modify stock machines to provide bespoke stand-alone or fully automated solutions. Customers are welcome to view and operate our range of machines in our demo room.

Gordian is a division of the StraPack Corporation (founded in Japan in 1933). Innovative design and dedication to quality have earned StraPack a solid reputation as one of the most respected and reliable manufacturers of strapping machines in the world.

Gordian also has a partnership of over 35 years with Italian based OMS. Established in 1949, OMS is a market leader in the design and manufacture of pallet strapping, stretch wrapping and stretch and shrink hooding systems.

In 2011 Gordian began representing Wrapsolut (formely FEV), a leading producer of horizontal stretch wrapping machines (aka spiral wrappers). Established in 1947, and based near Hannover, Germany, FEV is a leading manufacturer of horizontal stretch wrapping machines for all market sectors.

In 2017, Gordian Strapping proudly celebrated its 80th anniversary, making Gordian the longest established independent strap supplier in the UK.
