Our History as a Leader in Histology, Pathology and Cytology Specimen Labeling
Label Arts was founded in 1975 in Kemp, Texas, by a sole proprietor as a manufacturer of labels for the healthcare industry.
Over the years, we’ve worked to implement more institutional operating processes, developed new products, and have become more well-known in the industry due in part to frequent participation at tradeshows as an exhibitor.
Label Arts was acquired in 2013 by Field Packaging Solutions (FPS). From 2013 to 2016, Label Arts grew as we secured valuable relationships with laboratories, blood banks, and distributors.
In 2017, our manufacturing relocated to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, from Texas. We added new digital equipment to our facilities for long-run consecutive barcode labels.
Today, Label Arts continues to be a leader in Histology, Pathology and Cytology specimen labeling and we have the ability to supply labels to meet the requirements for all types of processing equipment.
As a proud member of the FPS family, we offer a longer reach through expanded resources, enhanced commercial processes, and financial-backing that is second to none within the industry.
