Labthink International, Inc.

Labthink is a multinational technology company that is devoted to helping customers succeed, employees grow and brands gain respect. The headquarters of Labthink is in Jinan, China; its international headquarters is in Boston, USA; and its SAC IT Center is in Hong Kong, China. The company has more than 50 international distributors and more than 30 international service providers.

Labthink has three brands for its three business sectors: DIAMON represents testing instruments for flexible packaging and many other industries; CONVEN is for package testing services for food industry; and INNOMAX stands for solutions for new business mode for third-party laboratories.

Labthink has taken the lead in proposing and drafting more than 10 national standards and has been granted more than 100 patents. Those standards and patents range from property testing for plastics, transmission methods for original data generated in testing to business mode for third-party laboratories and many other advanced technological and business areas.

• Labthink GmbH, the subsidiary in Europe was established.

In 2019

• Launched the 6th Global Inter-laboratory Efficiency Service of Physical Properties of Plastic Films.
• Labthink officially became the world’s first enterprise partner of the World Packaging Organization (WPO).
• Made a breakthrough on Infrared water vapor transmission measurement technology, greatly improving the accuracy and efficiency of the instrument
• Passed the National High-tech Enterprise Certification

In 2018

• Won the Third Prize of Science and Technology Award of China's Packaging Industry for the Achievement of "Detection Device of Water Vapor Transmission Rate by Electrolysis Method for Flexible Plastic Packaging Film and Container".

In 2017

• Labthink instruments were rated as stable and qualified products in national quality inspection.
• GB/T 34445-2017: Hot Tack Test of Thermoplastics and Blends Comprising the Sealing Surfaces of Flexible Webs which is drafted by Labthink was officially published.
• GB/T 34848-2017: Thermal Shrinkage Test Method of Heat shrinkable Film, which is drafted by Labthink was officially published.
• QB/T 5068-2017: Artificial and Synthetic Leather-Determination of Fogging Characteristics which is drafted by Labthink was enforced from July 1, 2017.
• Labthink’s project under title “Development of Permeability Testing Instrument for Various Gases Based on Differential Pressure Method” won the third prize of scientific and technical achievements awarded by China Packaging Federation.

In 2016

• Participated in the project “Research on Testing Instruments for On-site Fast Detection of Food Safety”, and won the second prize of Science and Technology Award of General Administration of Quality Inspection in 2016.
• Participated in the project “Study and Application of New Testing Technology of Packaging Materials”, and won the second prize of Science and Technology Award of General Administration of Quality Inspection in 2016.
• Multi-functional Evaporation Residue Constant Weight Tester for Safety Inspection of Packaging for Food and Drugs passed appraisement of scientific and technological achievement.
• Labthink jointly drafted GB/T 8809-2015: Test Method of Pendulum Impact Resistance of Plastic Films, which was formally implemented on April 1, 2016.
• Drafted GB/T 8809-2015: Test Method of Pendulum Impact Resistance of Plastic Films and formally implemented on April 1, 2016
• Assessed as municipal technological center by the government
• Labthink Packaging Safety Testing Center passed certification of CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment)

In 2015

• The scientific and technological achievement, Research and Application of New Type Testing technology of Packaging Materials, was honored to win the second class prize of Scientific Testing Technology Award from General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China.
• The scientific and technological achievement, Research on the Instruments for On-site Food Safety Testing, was honored to win the second class prize of Scientific Testing Technology Award from General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China.
• Labthink's Evaporation Residue Constant Weight Tester was honored to win the second class prize of New Products & New Technological Achievements Award in 2015 from China National Pharmaceutical Packaging Association.
