Stratex was founded in 1968 to apply polymers to paper for milk powder bags. Since this time the business has grown to supply a range of products to customers throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Africa.

As a leading supplier of packaging materials to food producers, Stratex utilize a range of in-house capabilities. Our Auckland factory, in New Zealand, houses state-of-the-art extrusion lamination and print technology. This production facility processes a wide variety of materials which are sourced from supply partners throughout the world. In Australia, the business has its national head office and main warehouse in Sydney, along with six logistics centers scattered throughout Australia.

New Zealand and Australia are economically developed nations. As a result of the geographic isolation of New Zealand and Australia (compared to the world), Stratex has developed innovative approaches and techniques in order to meet customer demands. Our ability to rapidly develop new products is a cornerstone of the business. A winner of awards for its unique products and high quality, Stratex has developed robust processes for new product development (NPD). These processes are designed to help customers run their packing line faster; make a package stand out more effectively on the shelf; or reduce product wastage.
