Mid Life IML

iPB Printing is an important player in the mid-life in-mould label market.

These labels are distinguished by a number of specific properties and characteristics as they are required in relation to the end product and its application. One can think of child seats, thermostatic taps, drinking cups or for all kinds of household products such as storage boxes, measuring cups, etc..

These IMLs can have additional and enhanced properties such as:

• Dishwasher resistance,
• scratch resistance,
• Killing resistance,
• Wear resistance,
• Laminated with high gloss PP or matt laminate in relation to possible mouth or direct food contact,
• Various film materials are used for these IMLs that are compatible with the various plastics and thus guarantee optimum adhesion.

A special IML group is formed by IMLs for products that can come into direct contact with food products and direct mouth contact.

iPB Printing has developed a laminated and above all crystal clear IM-Label for this specific market.

These labels are used in combination with ABS, SAN, ABS-SAN Mix, HIPS, PC and PP for sustainable end products such as PC glasses, measuring and drinking cups, thermostatic valves, etc..

All these substrates can be printed from 1 color to 8 colors within the HD-UV flexo process or, ifdesired, digitally in CMYK, albeit from a certain thickness in relation to a specific substrate.
