Strapping Polypropylene

As the pioneers of plastic strapping technology in the United Kingdom, we are ideally placed to provide materials that are perfectly suited to a wide range of applications and for hand tool or machine application.

A product that is prominent in our strapping range is our polypropylene, Poliflex®, which offers significant advantages over conventional polyester strapping. It is ideal for non-linear applications and, being significantly lighter than polyester, offers a significant cost saving per linear metre.

Poliflex® also has a high coefficient of elasticity so it is ideal for stretching round smaller packs and, as it yields under tension, it is less likely to break fragile edges. This elasticity also means that the strapping is less likely to break under tension and Poliflex® is resistant to moisture and degradation due to exposure to ultra violet light.
