Meypack's SW series film wrapping systems are available both as single-roll and two-roll packers. Machine types of the SW series that use single-roll technology are primarily characterized by their high performance and easy handling. In addition, these machine types also allow the processing of printed film in all performance areas. Both machine types are suitable for shrink-wrapping trays as well as loose products. They can be combined with the Meypack packaging systems.
Foil wrapping systems
The Meypack film stretch wrapping technology is particularly used when the customer's priority is pure transport packaging. The film stretch wrapping machines of the FW series wrap and cut the formations continuously at up to 60 cycles / minute. The film is wrapped around the product formation two to three times without any additional external energy input, such as required in the shrinking process with a shrink tunnel. The machine can be equipped with a laser perforation system, the so-called "easy-opening concept".

Foil cutting unit with vacuum belt
Foil packaging is no longer just considered transport packaging. Rather, it serves as sales packaging - specially printed, it completes the sales unit. The market wants a film that is as thin, stable and inexpensive as possible. Accordingly, the demands on the cutting unit, which cuts individual film segments from a film roll with precision and repeatability, also increase. Not only the wear-resistant cutting knife, but also the low-maintenance design and the use of printed film are notable advantages of the Meypack cutting unit.
Shrink tunnel
The design of the shrink tunnel is crucial for a good shrink image. An optimal shrinkage pattern is achieved through specially made ventilation ducts - and partition walls in the case of multi-lane product flow.
In addition to the electricity-operated shrink tunnel, the Meypack construction kit also has a gas-operated version. Due to its environmentally friendly design, no external exhaust air duct is necessary.
Experience has shown that gas-powered shrink tunnels pay for themselves within 1 to 2 years.
Foil roll change
A quick film roll change must be guaranteed as well as an ergonomic reloading.
Due to the steadily growing demands on the film and the product, the Meypack modular system offers different designs to make the film roll change as efficient and ergonomic as possible.
Depending on the task at hand, Meypack also offers a semi or fully automatic film roll change.
Stretch film wrapper
A supplement to the film wrapping and shrinking systems are our type FW stretch film wrappers, which continuously wrap the products with an elastic film.
With the film rolls arranged opposite one another, outputs of up to 60 film packs / min can be achieved. Be generated.
This type of packaging is particularly suitable for frozen products. Low power and film consumption are just two of the many advantages of this machine.
