Food packaging serves to protect against harmful environmental influences and can at the same time serve for visual differentiation and thus for branding.

By means of laser cutting, viewing windows can be cut into packaging materials, which are then closed again (transparently) in a further processing step.

Since the laser process can be set very quickly and flexibly, there is almost unlimited freedom in the geometric design of these viewing windows. There is no need to manufacture, test and maintain costly mechanical cutting tools.

For the end consumer, modern and visually appealing packaging solutions can be designed, which allow a transparent insight into the packaging. Packaging solutions with a lot of paper are also often easy to recycle and enable individual sustainability goals to be improved.
