ML Perf laser system

Our MLPerf laser system is mainly used by two customer groups: film manufacturers or film refiners (converting) and directly by customers from the food industry who use our laser systems on packaging machines.

Fresh foods such as fruits and vegetables often have a long journey behind them before they reach the customer. The following methods and products, for example, are used in the packaging industry for packaging films:

• Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP),
• Easy ventilation or also
• Called Breathable Film

The relatively small holes created in the packaging create a constant equilibrium in the gas exchange of CO2 and O2 with the environment. In principle, the packaging begins to "breathe" in the refrigerated counter. Ripening gases can escape in a controlled manner and, as a result, the packaged food usually has a significantly longer shelf life.

• Laser perforation of monofilms
• Laser perforation of composite films
• Laser perforation of outer packaging during the packaging process.
