In 1924,Birkan GmbHwas incorporated in Munich by Alois Kandlbinder by the name ‘Birkner & Kandlbinder oHG’. More than ninety years on, the company is now renamed BIRKAN GmbH in Eching on the shores of Lake Ammer in Upper Bavaria.

Today, we are one of Europe’s biggest and most dynamic converters of rubber blanketswith a strong management team and a reputation for quality, durability and reliability. Knowing our clients and their particular needs for blanket products, we expand our portfolio and maintain partnerships with global brands. Currently, our company exports offset blankets to more than 100 countries worldwide.
