A well-coordinated extrusion technology ensures the product quality significantly. The drive of the extruder is electromechanical and speed-controlled, whereby an energy-efficient direct drive consisting of motor and gear is used. The extruder screw and feed zone geometry are coordinated so that many blown plastics can be processed with high melt strength, low melt temperature and good homogeneity. When developing a die, material-specific properties such as the flow behavior, the bulk density of the raw material and the temperature control are taken into account. Depending on the article, criteria such as the wall thickness, the hose diameter and an even hose exit speed are incorporated into the design of the mono- or co-extrusion tools.
