Royal Vaassen was asked to develop the main components for composite cans. The customer was under pressure and wanted to change supplier quickly. We transformed into a one-stop-shop supplier to meet the set criteria of the product to be delivered.

What have we done

We challenged the current monopoly supplier on quality and performance and produced several new products so that the main components of the composite can met all criteria. We came up with all kinds of innovative solutions not only for the ring of the tin, but also for the material of the wrapping box and the lip. The right choice of material, as well as its thickness, played a crucial role in this process. In the end, under time pressure, we managed to achieve a perfect result. Thanks to these innovative solutions, we became a one-stop-shop supplier for the critical components of these composite cans. The rapid technical support and further developments since delivery enabled the customer to switch to a new supplier quickly and without any worries.
