Challenge

Royal Vaassen was asked to develop a 100% identical membrane sealing solution for the metal cans of infant formula in terms of opening, sealing and securing. This is based on their existing supplier versions. Reproducing a product exactly is a challenge, but our innovative thinking led to a great result.

what we did

We developed a 100% identical membrane sealing solution from scratch, including a new lacquer recipe. It corresponds in all respects to the customer's existing version. It took several years to achieve this goal, but thanks to innovation and perseverance, we have been able to create a product that we are extremely proud of. Our membrane sealing solution features a high oxygen and moisture barrier and a strong and secure seal that is easy to open. All components are designed to work together perfectly. A major advantage: the customer has a choice of suppliers without loss of quality and is able to simplify the process, making it more economical. We are now a supplier of various products for this customer,
