The anti-corrosion effect of VCI diffusers of the EXCOR product categories EMIBO and BALESO derives from diffusion from capsules and foam. The products are frequently added to existing transport or storage packages. EXCOR VCI diffusers are generally placed in the cavities within packaging, where their corrosion inhibitors vaporise into the surrounding air to create the desired anti-corrosion atmosphere within the packaging. Depending on the customer’s wishes, EXCOR adapts the VCI diffusers it uses to the packaging volumes involved. All EXCOR VCI diffusers are odour-free and pose no health risk.
