BLADE SERIES, PREFORM GATE CUTTING MACHINE

Gate cutting is required before blowing PET preforms especially when the gate is long.

Our “BLADE” series machine is an automatic gate cutting system; the preforms are fed by a preform unscrambler connected directly to the input star wheel of the machine.

The preforms are transferred to the central carousel where they are placed on a stainless steel support with interchangeable sectors. A special blade carries out gate cutting at the height required.

Once cut, the preforms are unloaded onto the exit star wheel and transported to an Octabin or other type of container.

“Blade” machines can process from 50 to 400 preforms per minute.

A touchscreen panel provides the operator with all information concerning production, while enabling to create diverse types of production recipe as per the format to be processed, or the speed of the preform printer.
