STEEL TYPES

The steel types shown on this page fit into all type holders of Group 1300 with a retaining pin.  Please make sure to order the correct size anyway.

Capital letters, numbers and punctuation are available from stock.

The steel types are engraved in accordance with DIN 1451. Furthermore, the steel types are made from the material 90MnCrV8 (1.2842), hardened to approx. 60 - 62 HrC and nickel-plated to protect against rust.

We are also happy to produce so-called block types for you, on which several recurring combinations of letters or numbers are summarized. This makes it easier to change the types of steel. Of course, logos or special characters are also possible.
