Automatic “Random” case sealer

SM44 is an automatic case sealer with random adjustment. It means that the machine can adjust automatically to fit different box sizes. The machine is designed to apply automatically a “C” strip of adhesive tape to the top and bottom of boxes. A device on the top taping unit frame folds automatically the 4 flaps of the box while the side belts (2 x 75 mm high each) move the box with a speed of 30 m/min. To control flaps box closing a side pressure roller is installed on the machine, while through the pneumatic system it detects the boxes height. SM44 is equipped with the most popular SIAT K11R taping unit (50 mm width) on top and bottom taping sides. Side safety protections connected to electro pneumatic disconnection switches are foreseen. Box processing capacity up to 450 boxes/hour (SM44HD) – up to 800 boxes/hour (SM44HS). SM44HS is our fastest machine because can detect the box height in masked time (while the box before is in taping cycle) and save time for that part of the cycle.
