CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers with sealing bar system.

The automatic shrinkwrappers of the CL-CLV series are suitable for packaging containers with LDPE film using the sealing bar system, in which the ends of the film unwound from two reels are sealed by pressure between two heated jaws . In the CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers, after the film has been sealed, the bundle is transferred to the oven to shrink the film. The CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers are available for packaging in film only, flat pad + film or tray + film. The CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers can reach a speed of 15 cycles / minute. The CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers are continuous motion packaging machines designed for packaging cans, plastic and glass bottles, jars and cans with or without flat pad or cardboard support tray with shrink film.

The CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers combine reliable mechanical solutions with the most advanced electronics in a robust and flexible machine, easy to use and maintain and characterized by rapid format changeover between different products. The CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers have a very small footprint to be inserted in any production line. All moving parts are protected by safety joints which intervene immediately in the event of an overload.

The CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers are equipped with a product separation unit with pneumatic gate that guarantees optimal control of the pressure on the product and a very quick format change. The film unwound from two reels is dragged to the sealing section without any tension. Once sealed the film is cut by a hot wire before the bars open. The models of the CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers for tray + film packaging are complete with a magazine from which the blanks are picked up by suction cups mounted on an oscillating arm. The blanks are then lifted by toothed chains and the tray is formed around the bundle. The hot glue for closing the trays is sprayed by electronically controlled guns to ensure precision and avoid glue waste.

The heat-shrinking tunnel section of the CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers was developed with the aim of precisely regulating the heat supplied to each area of the pack, obtaining energy savings and perfect shrinking even with printed films. The air flows can be differentiated under, on the sides and above the pack thanks to valves and diffusers that can be adjusted according to the dimensions of the product and the thickness of the film. The CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers are manufactured and designed with the aim of guaranteeing a quick and simple format change; sliding clamping handles on graduated scales or handwheels with digital indicators allow the operator to change the format simply by following the instructions in the manual and adjusting the moving parts to the positions indicated. The CL-CLV series shrinkwrappers are equipped with transparent access doors positioned on all sides of the machine to facilitate cleaning and maintenance. Switches connected to the emergency circuit immediately stop the machine in case of opening, guaranteeing maximum safety in every phase of the production process.
