The marketing in order to satisfy the needs of consumers in terms of unique experience and drive them to the choice of a particular product can make more attractive the pack by including of a gadget to be collected, such as a straw-cap with the appearance of a cartoon character. For the insertion of a gadget with distinctly different forms from the product and therefore impossible to manipulate through traditional infeed systems the choice could be for a robotic pick and place, robotic application for gadget insertion. 

The pick and place system can individually draw the straw-cap from a conveyor belt on which the straw-caps are housed inside a plastic tray and then inserting them individually within the bundle. The robotic application for gadget insertion, in this case, has a special separation / bundle forming device to create a bundle with the footprint for a 6 bottles but in-fact only constituted by 5, where the empty position of the missing bottle is occupied by the straw-cap positioned by the robot pick and place. Finally bottles and straw-cap are wrapped with registered shrink printed film on which the marketing advertise that the package  contain an exclusive gadget. The pick & place with the robot system is integrated within the Zambelli packer in order to reduce the overall dimensions.
