AUTOMATIC STRAPPING LINE FOR ALUMINIUM OR PAINTED COILS
A completely Automatic Strapping Line, where you are able to do circumferential and radial strapping of the coil.
This Line is made of the following elements:
#1 Entry support.
#1 Strapping Support with coil turning system.
#1 Multi-slotted carriage with lifting system.
#1 Automatic Strapping Machine for the circumferential and radial strapping of the coils with 32mm PET strap.
#1 Exit support.
Security enclosure consisting of a perimeter fence and photoelectric barriers.
These are the main characteristics of the coils to be strapped:
- OD of the coil: 800-2000mm.
- ID of the coil: 508-610mm.
- Width of the coil: 300-2000mm.
- Maximum weight: 20 Ton.
- Number of circumferential strappings: 2-6.
- Number of radial strappings:3-10.
- Productivity: 6 coils/hour.
The operator has to introduce the coil in the entry support and after receiving the start order, the carriage will suspend the coil and it will be moved to the circumferential strapping position, where the Strapping Machine will make each of the circumferential strappings, the coil being always stopped.
After the circumferential strappings are done, the Strapping Machine will automatically move to radial strapping position and at the same time the coil will be located on the strapping station rollers. While the radial strapping is being done, the coil will be located in each of the strapping positions.
Once all the strappings are done, the Strapping Machine will locate in “Home” position, so the carriage is able to move the coil to the end of the Line, where it will be located in the exit support, so it can be evacuated by the operator.
This type of solution can be adapted to each customer´snecessities, where apart from doing thestrappings, either with steel strap or PET strap, it is possible to do the labelling, the incorporation of different protectors.
