STRAPPING SOLUTIONS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF WIRE COILS

This Strapping Line has the aim of displace the coils to each of the strapping stations, doing the radial strapping to each coil with the steel strap and introducing the O-rings in the automatic mode.

The operator introduces the annealed drawn wire coils in the entry of the Line through the crane, where it has to remove the loose straps the coils have. This Line is made up by the following equipments:

• #1 Chain conveyor.
• #1 Lifting and turning system of the coils on the Lines entry.
• #1 Strapping table with coil lifting and turning system.
• #1 Automatic Strapping Machine for the radial strapping of the coils with 32mm steel strap and O-ring introduction.

The aim of the Line, apart from doing the strappings, is to displace the coils to the end of the Line where the customer´s Oilcan is located.

The Strapping Machine has the capacity to store up to 100 O-rings, with which it is possible to strap up to 25 coils continuously and automatically.

With this automatic solution, the customer avoids having to make many movements and manipulations of the coil, for the removing of the straps, the new strapping and introduction of the coils in the Oilcan.
